Since April 2019, he has been working on his dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences on the topic: "Treatment of fractures of the proximal humerus" (Experimental study)
The purpose of the study
To analyze the results of surgical treatment of patients with multifragmented fractures of the proximal humerus and osteoporosis using PHILOS-type plates and 3D polylactide implants.

Conclusions.
The analysis of clinical testing showed that the use of PHILOS plates with additional reinforcement with 3D polylactide implants allowed 96.7% patients to obtain positive results in the period from 6 to 12 months after surgery, and also proved a low level of complications compared to standard osteosynthesis, with an average Constant-Murley score of 87.2.

To continuously improve my knowledge, I participate in international scientific and practical conferences and internships, maintain close professional contacts with leading specialists of orthopedic clinics in Ukraine, Russia, the USA, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, and Israel.
Practical skills
Periosteal osteosynthesis of long bone fractures using traditional DCP-LC and advanced LCP plates, AT/OTA techniques.
A grant from the Association of Osteosynthesis (AO/OTA) for a period of 8 weeks.
The time was spent at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson (USA) under the direction of Dr. James L. Hughes.
The fellow gained experience in osteosynthesis, clinical and operative orthopedic surgery.
Intership in orthopedics and traumatology at the Lorenz Böhler Vienna Emergency Trauma Hospital for 3 weeks.
A 4-week training grant in Geneva (Switzerland) from the European Society for Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy (ESSKA).
Scientific activity
On June 6, 2024, he defended his dissertation in the specialty "Traumatology and Orthopedics" and received the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences
